Alliance for Vision Research Joins National Healthcare from the Eye Consortium
Alliance for Vision Research has officially joined the Alliance for Healthcare from the Eye (AHE), a growing cross-sector consortium focused on advancing the emerging field of oculomics and transforming healthcare through insights from the eye.
The Alliance recently participated in the AHE Spring Meeting held May 2 in Denver, where leaders from across healthcare, research, technology, industry, policy, and patient advocacy came together to discuss the future of Healthcare from the Eye and strategies for translating scientific innovation into scalable, real-world clinical practice.
The meeting highlighted a growing national movement focused on leveraging the eye as a window into broader systemic health through advanced imaging, artificial intelligence, biomarker discovery, and precision medicine. Discussions centered on building coordinated approaches surrounding clinical evidence, care pathways, incentives, operational implementation, and patient impact.
As a leading national advocacy organization dedicated to advancing federal investment in vision research and innovation, Alliance for Vision Research is proud to join this important collaborative effort and help elevate awareness surrounding the critical role vision research can play in improving overall health outcomes.
“Healthcare from the Eye represents one of the most exciting frontiers in biomedical innovation,” said Judy Hill, Communications & Public Affairs Officer for Alliance for Vision Research. “We are excited to collaborate with leaders across sectors to help advance policies, partnerships, education, and research efforts that continue unlocking the eye’s potential to transform healthcare.”
Alliance for Vision Research looks forward to supporting ongoing collaboration surrounding oculomics, artificial intelligence, translational research, and patient-centered innovation as the field continues evolving.
