Judy Hill is the Communications and Public Affairs Officer at Alliance for Vision Research, where she leads the organization’s communications strategy, public affairs initiatives, and stakeholder engagement efforts to advance policies that strengthen federal support for vision research and protect the National Eye Institute.
In her role, Ms. Hill oversees digital communications, advocacy messaging, media outreach, and the development of high-profile events and briefings that bring together researchers, policymakers, patient advocates, and industry leaders to highlight the importance of vision research. She also works to amplify the voices of the vision research community on Capitol Hill and across the country through strategic campaigns and partnerships.
With more than two decades of experience in communications, advocacy, and strategic engagement, Ms. Hill has built a strong background in public affairs, digital media, branding, and event leadership. She works closely with leaders across the vision research ecosystem, including scientific societies, patient organizations, academic institutions, and industry partners to elevate the impact of research that prevents blindness and restores sight.
Ms. Hill is passionate about connecting science, policy, and storytelling to ensure that vision research remains a national priority and that scientific breakthroughs improve the lives of millions of people affected by blinding diseases.
