Dan Ignaszewski has spent nearly two decades working within voluntary health and patient advocacy organizations, with more than fourteen years leading government relations and federal advocacy efforts. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with policymakers to advance legislation and significantly increase funding for critical programs and research.
Since 2008, Mr. Ignaszewski served with the Amputee Coalition, most recently as Chief Policy & Programs Officer, where he led the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plans while expanding advocacy engagement with partners, stakeholders, and the broader community. During his tenure, he successfully increased federal funding for community programs by more than 400 percent and helped expand federal investments supporting research on orthotic and prosthetic device outcomes.
Mr. Ignaszewski has written and managed numerous successful federal and industry grants and served as the principal investigator for a federal cooperative agreement with an annual budget of $4 million. His experience spans public policy, program development and implementation, communications and marketing, and building strategic partnerships that drive organizational growth and impact.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Business from Virginia Tech.
