Take Action: Proposed OMB Rule Puts Vision Research at Risk

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has proposed sweeping changes to federal grantmaking policies that could fundamentally alter how research funding decisions are made across the federal government. If finalized, these changes would diminish the role of independent scientific peer review, increase political influence over funding decisions, create new barriers to research funding, and impose additional administrative burdens on scientists and research institutions.

For researchers, the stakes could not be higher, and we need the vision community to respond.
